Protein Pancakes 3 Ways

Pancakes are an all rounder in our home. We love them sweet or savoury. For breakfast, lunch or dinner! So it won’t be surprised to hear that Pancake day is marked with a countdown on our calendar.

Of course when you’re trying to watch your macros eating stacks of pancakes with syrup doesn’t quite fit. So this year we collaborated with the lovely people over at Go Nutrition to create 3 recipes for protein pancakes that were delicious and packed full of protein. So get your gains stacked up!

Check out our video and see how quick and easy these recipes are!

Ingredients

4 scoops Go Nutrition pancake mix (chocolate banana flavour)
4 scoops Go Nutrition pancake mix (unflavour)
4 scoops Go Nutrition pancake mix (maple syrup flavour)
600ml water (200ml per flavour recipe)
1 sliced banana
Light Spray Cream
15g Dark Chocolate Callets
1 tablespoon smooth peanut butter
100g blueberries
ZeroCal Maple Syrup

Instructions

1
We'll be making 3 batters for the 3 different flavours. In a shaker add 200ml water and pancake mix & shake to make the batter. For the banana pancakes use the Go Nutrition Chocolate Banana flavour mix. For the Chocolate Chip pancakes use the Go Nutrition Unflavoured mix. For the Blueberry pancakes the Go Nutrition Maple flavour mix.
2
Heat a frying pan, spray with cooking spray and pour batter to form pancake. Cook for about 50 seconds. It's a simple flavoured batter for the banana pancakes.
3
At this stage if you are doing the chocolate chip flavour drop in a few of the callets. If you're doing the blueberry flavour drop in a few blueberries.
4
Flip to cook the other side for about 30 seconds. Repeat until you’ve used up the batter.
5
You should now have tasty stacks of pancakes for all three flavours. Top the chocolate banana flavoured pancake stack with fresh bananas, spray cream and dust with cocoa powder if you want.
6
Stack up the chocolate chip pancakes on a plate top with the peanut butter and the remaining chocolate callets.
7
Stack up the blueberry pancakes and top with the remaining blueberries. Drizzle with Go Nutrition ZeroCal Maple Syrup.
