Energy Granola Bites
Earlier this week Adam was complaining that he didn’t have any snacks in the flat. Now I’d like to clarify, there’s always plenty of things to eat in our home. But what he really means is that there wasn’t any snack that he could grab and go. So this is how the recipe for these energy granola bites came about.
The problem is with him being lactose intolerant, this instantly eliminates most protein and energy bites on the market. With him being a power lifter he needs high energy foods throughout the day and especially before he hits the gym.
So I got thinking, and came up with these granola bites that are made up with store cupboard staples.These bites are designed to be a replacement for the energy bars that are on the market. Its a quick and easy recipe that only takes 10 minutes to pull together and the reward for the the effort is crunchy, nutty, sweet bites that packed with cinnamon-ny goodness.
